Greeting to all aidpage viewers/readers,
I recently found out about this website and I thought it was a very brilliant way to ask for help. I'm asking for your help/donations to my foundation called Friends Of Rwanda, Inc. which started in 1996. Our mission is to help kids in Rwanda who survived genocide of 1994. These kids are hopeless and we as sponsors we're the hope they need to get a bright future. I can't tell you enough about genocide that took place in 1994 in Rwanda, but the best way is to google the word Rwanda for those of you who never heard of that country, and you will see for yourself or you can rent this movie called Hotel Rwanda or you can watch this documentary called Ghosts of Rwanda and that will give you a hint of what took place in Rwanda. But remember, movies are just movies, the real tragedy is far way from what you will see in the movie. It was horrible tragic that happened to people of Rwanda and probably other parts of the world where genocide took place like Jewish people knows the best about this traumatic experience. All I'm asking today is people with kind heart and passion for children and education to help my foundation grow and sponsor more children in Rwanda. I'm very much attached to this cause because I'm originally from Rwanda and I lost family and friends in this tragic. Please.....all the viewers/readers out there who are financially stable, help my foundation, its for a good cause. I joined this foundation about 5-6 years ago and it is still in the beginning stages because most members are just volunteers and are also not financially stable. Like myself, I'm a third year college student struggling to pay my bills and college at thesame time, but I'm always worried about those who doesn't have the opportunity that we have here in USA. We have free education to highschool and Rwanda has zero. We have 9 students that we sponsor so far and we would like to sponsor more as funds becomes available. The cost estimate is $400 per child including everything. Please Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! these kids have gone through so much and the best we can do is to give them a better future, we can't change their past , but we can change their future.
